We recently sent our new Social Media Coordinator to experience her first Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial. She loved it so much that she wanted to share her experience.

From the moment I walked through the door, the process was welcoming, personalised, and relaxing. Although I had done my research, I couldn't decide which treatment would suit me best. However, the friendly staff assessed my skin, answered my questions, and after selecting the Rejuvenate Treatment, it was time to prep my skin with a deep cleanse.

The first step involved applying the Rejuvenate Gentle Cleanser to a damp makeup remover pad and placing it on my closed eyes for 30 seconds to dissolve any residual eye makeup. Then using slow, soft massaging movements, the aesthetician cleansed my face, neck, and chest with the Rejuvenate Cleansing Gel.

Following this, the high-performance Rejuvenate Enzyme Exfoliant was applied as a mini-peel to remove any dead skin cells, and a warm towel was gently placed over my face. During the warm towel process, the aesthetician used gentle pressing movements to massage my shoulders and face. I already felt so pampered at this point, and my skin was as smooth as silk!

The final step featured one last cleanse with the Rejuvenate Gentle Cleanser to ensure the Rejuvenate Enzyme Exfoliant was completely removed. The deep cleanse process is not only super relaxing, but it ensures no barrier, such as makeup, sunscreen, or environmental pollutants, gets between your skin and the treatment.

With my skin cleansed and prepped, it was time to move on to the Oxygen Treatment. During my consultation, the aesthetician explained that the Rejuvenate professional serum features low-weight hyaluronic, plus vitamins A, C and E, which will hydrate my skin and plump my fine lines.

Once I felt the cooling, gentle spray of serum on my skin, I slipped deeper into my relaxation zone. 

The aesthetician then glided the oxygen and serum softly and methodically over one side of my face. Once the first side was treated, she applied the Rejuvenate 3 Step Hyaluronic Layering Set and Eye Gel before handing me a mirror to compare the treated and untreated sides. She also had me gently pinch both sides of my face, and I was blown away by how plump and hydrated the treated side of my face looked and felt!

Each side of my face was then treated multiple times, and areas with more prevalent signs of ageing, including under my eyes and forehead, received extra attention. Following my appointment, I couldn’t wait to show off my new glow.

Throughout the week, the initial wow factor didn't wear off! But, as the results are cumulative, I’ve already booked my next treatment to ensure that my skin continues to build and retain hydration.
